Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has given us unprecedented access to the inside of our own bodies. The problem is the MRI scanners are extremely expensive and their availability is limited. Engineer Lina Avancini Colucci built a portable and affordable sensor that harnesses some of the power of MRI.
